Hello Tigers!

My name is Laura Hayward, and I am excited to be the new school counselor at Oak Ridge Elementary. What an amazing school! This is my first year with Frenship ISD. I am starting my 13th year as a school counselor. I received my B.S. in education from Texas Tech University and then my M.S. in school counseling from Lubbock Christian University. I have two amazing daughters that are grown, and a new precious grandbaby named Ivy. For fun, I enjoy spending time with family & friends, traveling, cooking, and reading. I look forward to getting to know the Oak Ridge families!
