Oak Ridge Elementary held a fundraiser for the Children’s Miracle Network last month. They set a goal to raise $2,000 as a campus and surpassed that mark by reaching 140% of their goal for a total of $2,794.
In order to raise the most money, students paid one dollar to participate in various dress up days. They hosted class competitions, including one where students used their math skills to bring the correct amount of change to win.
The winning class in each grade level was rewarded with a spirit stick, and the highest winning class overall received a pizza party. As part of the fun, a couple of teachers even got pies to the face. All proceeds from the activities were given to the Children’s Miracle Network.
Thanks, Oak Ridge Tigers, for being a shining example of the Frenship Way and for your support of a wonderful cause!
