Roberson began her education career in 2004, and she has proudly served all 19 years at Frenship ISD. During her time as an educator, Roberson has held various roles including multiple teaching, mentor, and leadership positions.
As she begins this new role, Roberson is already well known to the Oak Ridge staff, students, and families. For the past four years, Roberson has led Oak Ridge as the assistant principal, and most recently she served as the Oak Ridge interim principal before being selected for the position.
“I am honored to be chosen as the new principal and excited to continue working alongside the best teachers and students that make Oak Ridge such a wonderful place to work, learn, and grow,” said Roberson.
Roberson graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Science in Sports Science and a Master’s in Education, Curriculum, and Instruction. She also earned a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Lubbock Christian University.
Not only has Roberson called Frenship home for nearly two decades, but her husband is also a dedicated Frenship High School coach, and their two sons attend Frenship schools.
Roberson takes the place of former long-time Oak Ridge principal Shane Langen who was recently named Director of Facilities for Frenship ISD.
