I earned a biological sciences degree from UC Irvine in 2004. I worked in healthcare for 15 years before getting married and changing directions to work in education. This is my second year at Oak Ridge, helping a student one-on-one, in Special Education. My student loves being a part of the public school system, and it’s great to help make that a reality. My background in healthcare and health sciences helps me attend to my students’ particular needs. I hope to become a science teacher in the future and am working on my teaching certification. 

My husband has been on the IT team at Frenship over ten years. We have 2 children ages 11 and 13. We like church, camping, video games, and swimming. I pray that everyone at Oak Ridge has a great year!
