In 2019, I left my teaching position in northeast Texas so that I could be closer to my beautiful granddaughter and family who live in Lubbock, Texas. I have taught for many years both in the general education and special needs classroom. I graduated with my Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and minored in Finance as well. I went back to college and received my Master of Education and my teaching certification. I currently hold a certification in EC-4th ESL Generalist, EC-6th Generalist, and EC-12th Generic Special Education. Previous to becoming a teacher, I worked in higher education as an assistant director, financial aid counselor, loan coordinator, and veteran's educational benefits coordinator.

Things that are most important to me are my Lord, family, my country, and being the best teacher for my students.  My hobbies are being with family, playing tennis (when I can), hiking, going to the beach (mostly Port A, Destin, Fl), and staying at my lake lots on Cypress Springs Lake in east Texas.
